Location of the Lake:
This beautiful Lake which is paradise for the birds is located in Dungarpur City overlooking the woody hills of Dungarpur, District Dungarpur, Rajasthan.
Attractions of the Lake:
The pathway of the Lake is lined with trees. It is habitat to thousands of ducks of 12 Species, egrets, White-breasted Water hens, Bee-eaters, Green Pigeons, Grey and purple Herons and Purple Moorhens. The famous Shrinathji Temple is situated on the banks of the Lake. The temple complex houses several beautifully built shrines alongwith the main Temple. The Udai Bilas Palace built in the mid 19th Century A.D. by Maharawal Udai Singh II is also located on the banks of this Lake.
