The Faculty of Engineering and Technology Tripura University was set up by the Tripura University, Suryamaninagar. The Departments of Computer Science & Engineering & Electrical Engineering were established in the year 2005, the Department of Information Technology was established in the year 2002, the Departments of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Material Science & Engineering, Chemical & Polymer Engineering were established in the year 2016.
