Eligibility
- First Year of Engineering & Technology:
The candidates should have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination with at least five subjects with one of the subjects of English obtaining at least 60% marks (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in Physics, Mathematics and one subject of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science taken together.
OR should have passed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology of 3 years or more duration with minimum 60% marks (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates and 50% marks in case of NRI Seat) from any recognized Board of Technical Education/ University or its equivalent Diploma examination.
- Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
The candidate should have passed 3 years Diploma examination from any recognized Board/ University with at least 60% marks (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates & 50% marks in case of NRI Seat) in appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology.
OR B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with at least 60% marks (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates & 50% marks in case of NRI Seat) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a main subject.
Admission Procedure
- First Year of Engineering & Technology:
The admission is based on the score in the JEE (Main) Exam conducted by JEE Apex Board of the C.B.S.E. (For details visit www.jeemain.nic.in). The Counselling for admission is conducted by Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Sadopur-Ambala. The candidates are required to download the Prospectus from the University Website, fill the admission form and appear for Counselling on the fixed date & time.
75% seats are filled on the basis of the score in JEE (Main) Exam, while the remaining 25% seats (including 15% seats for children/ wards of NRI’s) are filled by the Institute on the basis of marks secured in the Qualifying examination (For details visit http://mmambala.org/).
- Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
The admission for 75% open and 25% management Lateral Entry seats (including 15% seats, if any, for children/ wards of NRI’s) is based on the marks secured in the Qualifying examination.
Duration
Four Academic years comprising of 8 Semesters, Three Academic years comprising of 6 Semesters for lateral entry candidates.

Eligibility
The candidate should have passed with at least 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST category candidates and 50% marks in case of NRI Seat) in aggregate in Bachelor’s degree examination of at least 3-yr duration in any discipline from any recognized University OR should have passed in final examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India.
Admission Procedure
The admission is based on the score in the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (For details visit www.aicte-cmat.in)/ Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by All India Management Association (For details visit www.aima.in/testing-services/mat/mat.html). The Counselling for admission is conducted by Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Sadopur-Ambala. The candidates are required to download the Prospectus from the University Website, fill the admission form and appear for Counselling on the fixed date & time.
The admission to 75% open seats is made on the basis of the merit of the highest score of CMAT or merit of the highest score (out of four) of MAT. Fee Structure of Maharishi Markandeshwar Group of Institutions
- The fee for B.Tech. course (as fixed for the year 2015-2016) is Rs. 70,000/- per student per annum which includes Tuition Fee of Rs. 60,000/- and Development Fund of Rs. 10,000/-. The fee to be paid by the students admitted through LEET is the same as applicable to their counterpart students admitted in the four year B.Tech. Program. The fee for NRI’s is 20,000/- in US$ for full course.
- The fee for MBA course (as fixed for the year 2015-2016) is Rs. 60,000/- per student per annum which includes Tuition Fee of Rs. 50,000/- and Development Fund of Rs. 10,000. The fee for NRI’s is 10,000/- in US$ for full course.
- In addition to above, the students have to pay Rs. 1,500/- as Student Fund per year, Rs. 2,000/- as Caution Money-College (One time refundable), Uniform Charges Rs. 3,000/-, Insurance as per actual. The University charges are extra as per University norms. The Hostel Charges are extra. The Fee has to be deposited at the time of Counselling. The Fees once paid is not refunded under any circumstances. However, the security is refunded if claimed within one year of the completion of the course. The students who wish to leave the Institute mid-stream, will have to deposit the fee for the remaining period of the course as per the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of Islamic Academy of Education and others Vs State of Karnataka & PA Inamdar case.
