Pass in 10+2 examination from a recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects – Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology with 45% marks (42.75% marks for SC category candidates, 35% marks for Kashmiri Migrants) in aggregate of three subjects.
For Kashmiri Migrants – The percentage is calculated on the basis of marks of Maths, Physics, English and any one of the following (whichever is highest) : Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology.
- Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):

Tech. is based on the score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and all the Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The vacant seats, thereafter, are filled on the basis of the marks secured in the qualifying examination. The admission is done at the College level.

The vacant seats along with 20% already sanctioned seats in MCA 3rd Semester are filled under lateral entry scheme. Pass in B.Sc. Ranking of Haryana College of Technology and Management
The Haryana College of Technology and Management has been awarded with ‘Best Engineering College of Haryana’ by ‘Times Research’ since last 04 consequent years, awarded with ‘Best Placement & Career Building Award 2013’ by ‘All India Technical & Management Council’. The College is also superb in Sports with students winning Gold and Silver Medals in Boxing and Basketball Championship at the State Level Competitions. The students of this College have achieved excellent results at University Level since its establishment. Apart from these the College has been getting 1st position in the region since last 05 years for donating Maximum Units of Blood.
Fee Structure of Haryana College of Technology and Management
The State Fee Committee has fixed the fee structure for various courses offered by Haryana College of Technology and Management. A brief detail is as follows:
- The fee for B.Tech. course (as fixed for the year 2015-2016) is Rs. 78,000/- per student per annum which includes Tuition Fee of Rs. 60,000/- and Development Fund of Rs. 18,000/-. The fee to be paid by the students admitted through LEET is the same as applicable to their counterpart students admitted in the four year B.Tech. Program.
- For BBA course, the Haryana College of Technology and Management charges a fee of Rs. 26,600/- per student per annum (as fixed for the year 2015-2016).
- For BCA course, the Haryana College of Technology and Management charges a fee of Rs. 27,200/- per student per annum (as fixed for the year 2015-2016).
- The fee for MBA course (as fixed for the year 2015-2016) is Rs. 55,000/- per student per annum which includes Tuition Fee of Rs. 43,000/- and Development Fund of Rs. 12,000.
- The fee for MCA course (as fixed for the year 2015-2016) in Haryana College of Technology and Management is Rs. 38,000/- per student per annum which includes Tuition Fee of Rs. 32,000/- and Development Fund of Rs. 6,000.
- In addition to above, the students have to pay Rs. 1,500/- as Student Fund per year, Rs. 2,000/- as Caution Money-College (One time refundable), Rs. 2,000/- as Caution Money-Hostel/Mess (One time from Boarders/Hostellers only, refundable). The fee is chargeable on semester basis.
- The Hostel & Mess charges amount to Rs. 45,000/- per student which includes lodging, boarding, water & electricity, reading room, computer, work station, gym and sports/necessary furniture & furnishings. The Laundry and Canteen etc. is on actual basis and optional. The cost of A.C. room is separate which could be on an average Rs. 9,000/- to 10,000/- extra. The transport is as per actuals. However, it cannot be beyond Govt. fare per km. + upto 50%. The University/Board and Examination fee is as per actual. The cost of Prospectus (only once in the course) is not more than Rs. 500/-. The cost of Placement Brochure (chargeable only once in the final year) is not more than Rs. 500/-. The Insurance is on actual basis. The Uniform costs Rs. 3000/- per student which includes one Blazer, two trousers, two shirts, one tie, two socks. Subsequent requirement is optional and chargeable.
- The additional charges for items like generator, internet (Wi-Fi), Book Bank (minimum 3 books) EDP. etc. may be taken only if these facilities are provided by Haryana College of Technology and Management. However, it cannot be more than 5% of the sum total of the tuition fee + development fund and proportionately less as decided by the State Fee Committee.
